All frient devices are now fully compatible with Homey
Are you a Homey user? Then we have good news for you: You can now use all frient products and all their features with your Homey.
The new drivers for Homey bring you lots of upgrades for your flows and your smart home. But see for yourself which of the new features is a must-have for you.

Smart Siren now works with Homey
Imagine always having a frient who tells you if something at home isn’t right. You know, someone outspoken who can raise their voice and scare away intruders – all day every day, even in case of power outages. In other words; a foe to your enemies, a frient to you.
That’s the Smart Siren. It gives off a loud alarm sound if an intruder is detected and scares away intruders before they can do any damage.
It comes with a battery backup to make sure it is always alert and can also function as a range extender, giving you more possibilities for your smart home.
Smart Button now works with Homey
Imagine always having a frient who easily lets you control your home. You know, someone who puts your home into night mode, turns off all your lights, and locks your front door with just a push of a button. Someone who really wants to make your life easier.
Need a frient like that? Then the Smart Button is for you. Set up flows to connect it to individual appliances or whole flows – there are no limits to your creativity.
Turn off all lights at a push of a button, start your morning routine, or set the mood for a cozy evening in front of your TV.

Connect the sirens of your friently alarms
Many of you have asked us about this function, and we’re happy to report that it is now supported by Homey.
The new drivers allow you to activate and deactivate the sirens of the Intelligent Smoke Alarm, the Intelligent Heat Alarm, and the Water Leak Detector in the Homey app. Use this to set up a flow that if one alarm detects a fire or water leak, all alarms will turn on their sirens for a specific amount of time, and you’ll have all alarms interconnected.
This way, you’ll make sure you always know immediately if something is wrong, even if a fire starts in your basement and you’re in the upstairs bedroom.

Adjust the pulse rate of your meter for the Electricity Meter Interface
Does the LED of your meter have a different output than 1000 pulses/kWh and you have had to recalculate the results from your Electricity Meter Interface?
There’s no more need for this. If your meter communicates at 10000 pulses, 5000, or anything else, you can now configure this in the Homey app and make sure you get the correct results.
