Celebrating a decade of Homey

On Tuesday May 28th, one of our best friends is turning 10 and we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with them!

Yes, we are talking about Homey – the maker of some super stylish and user-friendly hubs and one of the most widely used smart home platforms with frient devices.

Starting out as a small Kickstarter campaign in the Netherlands in 2014, Homey has grown impressively and continually crafted their products into one of the most beloved smart home platforms out there.

For the past four years, frient and Homey has been friends and over the years, more and more frient devices have become compatible with Homey, allowing smart home owners to get the most out of their smart home.

Today, the entire range of frient devices are compatible with Homey hubs and the number of Homey users with frient devices has more than doubled during the past year. This past year only, we have seen an increase of over 113% in installs of the frient app in Homey!
