What is a heat detector?
Similar to smoke detectors, heat detectors are used to detect fires. The difference between a heat detector and a smoke detector is how they are triggered. A heat detector is activated when it detects high temperatures or unusually fast increases in temperatures.
Why use a heat detector?
With a kitchen heat detector, you will avoid false smoke alarms while cooking, an attic heat detector will not react mistakenly to dust, and a heat alarm for garages will not be activated unwantedly by fumes.
By choosing a battery-operated heat detector, you can easily install it yourself. The wireless heat detector simply needs to be mounted with screws on the ceiling or the wall.
